Gerald W. Long and his wife Carol started the business in 1966 after his own drain backed up at his house. He is a Master Plumber, Plumbing Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, Boiler Contractor, Cross-Connection Certified, a former Rotarian and is currently a Romeo Lion’s Club member and a member of the Romeo Masonic Lodge. It is obvious that giving back is in his blood. His number one priority is to serve the needs of the customer in any way that he can, as soon as he can. There is never a project that he turns away, even if he has to use another contractor to get the job done. Loves to spend time with his family and is genuinely interested in people and where they come from. His favorite work tool: Jet Truck and the paper napkin for note writing.

New age meets old style perfection that comes with a vast knowledge of construction equipment. Nate was a perfect match for us and we are glad he chose us right out of high school in 2022. He continues to impress us every day. Our jet truck is his favorite tool.
Kevon came to us with an understanding of how to truly treat and take care of a customer, and his kindness blends into this work performance. He makes sure that he is always fair and careful in his work performance and explaining what needs to be done. We are thankful and happy he is on our team. Kevon’s favorite tool – his pipe wrench.
Penny became a major part of our staff in summer of 2021. It seems like she came in and sat right down to business. She was a quick learner and prides herself on working on a task until it is 100% done. Her favorite work tools are her Rolodex Card File and the hold button. Penny helps us get through the day with her realistic anecdotes, but patience – well, that is a work in progress.
